Dana is a the Bay Area Health Collective’s business coach. She is available during pop up clinics to discuss your business ideas as well is available as a life coach.

Dana is a coach who invites you to dive deep into what sparks your passion. Her private coaching sessions provide a safe space for you to discover and play with what makes you feel most alive and to bring it into your work. Her group coaching sessions are inviting and dynamic. Dana is both teacher and learner and is passionate about the work she does.

Chae will offer 30-minute sessions focused on eating for mental and physical health and wellness for those feeling like they lack energy, are tired of dieting or counting calories, want to optimize their physical training, are looking to lose or gain weight, need advice on how to nourish the body to prevent or treat illness, or anyone who desires to be an educated and aware shopper and consumer. Anyone can benefit from a session because we all need to eat, but most of us don’t really know HOW.

Chae is a NASM certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist who works as a Health Coach and has turned her own life around by making lifestyle changes over the course of several years. She lost 140lb of excess bodyweight, reversed the effects of several conditions she suffered from for years including many digestive system issues, alopecia areata, eczema, psoriasis, and low energy and self-worth. Through a clean diet, she has discovered how to live without the toxic medications she used to depend on, why sleep and minimal stress are essential to a happy life, and why nutrition education is so important in allowing people to make their own choices about what and how they eat.

Eric Geedey

Holistic Massage Therapist

Eric received his initial massage certification in 2007 and has successfully helped clients achieve the “E3 RESULTS,” Escape, Enhance, Enrich. He specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports massage. He will be seeing clients for 30- minute sessions during the Pop Up clinics.

He knows how to get to the root of the pain in a loving and supportive way. His experience includes a private practice since 2007, World School of Massage Faculty and Coach, corporate chair massage, and sports massage for many bay area endurance events.

Eric is passionate about creating more ease and comfort in the body, especially for active individuals. Coming from a corporate background and spending time around World Class athletes, he understands the affects of poor ergonomics, continued stress, and endurance training on the body, mind, and spirit.

Eric has successfully integrated traditional modalities, energy work, essential oils, and sports massage into his sessions to provide his clients the best opportunity for recovery from pain, exhaustion, and limited range of motion. In addition to his private practice, his experience includes working on the Stanford football team and he volunteers his hands for the AIDS/LifeCycle annually.

Brenda D. Hatley

Brenda offers 30- minute acupuncture sessions but clients are welcome to relax and enjoy their treatment for longer if they wish.Brenda is both California licensed and an NCCAOM nationally certified diplomat of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She earned her Master’s degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine where she studied acupuncture, Chinese herbology, Tui Na medical massage, and biomedicine.

Brenda enjoys all aspects of Chinese culture. She attended Peking University in Beijing, China where she learned to speak Mandarin Chinese and is also a lifelong martial artist. As a proud member of the United States Wushu Team, Brenda has earned many national and international titles. She continues to train and currently teaches Taichi and Wushu at STUDIOMIX.

As Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is one of the newest primary health care professions in California, Brenda is passionate about bridging the gap between eastern and western medicine. She hopes to make TCM a first resource of care for her patients–not a last resort.

Ewa (pronaunced Eva) offers a 30-minute introductory Hypnotherapy session that begins with a brief conversation about what you would like to focus on and then allows you to experience a hypnosis moving you into your desired change. You can find stress relief or pain reduction, improve your memory or study skills, begin to find relief from fears and phobias, or strengthen your body’s own immune system. The sessions are brief but will give you tools to take home and leave you feeling more relaxed, at ease and with a greater sense of control over your feeling and thinking. Ewa is available in her Bernal Heights private practice for longer individual appointments if you would like to address other themes like trauma recovery, habit change, relationship or sexual concerns, or if you are dealing with a medical condition or preparing for surgery.

Ewa has been practicing hypnotherapy since 2001 and Reiki since 2003, sometimes combining both modalities, which is especially helpful for physical manifestations of emotional issues or for supporting deep inner healing.

Ewa is a Certified Clinical and Medical Hypnotherapist and Reiki Master Teacher, who also holds Master of Arts degrees in Pedagogy and Counseling Psychology. After years of training and clinical experience she discovered Hypnosis work as a powerful tool of deep healing and transformation. She brings a trans-personal approach to her work and believes in helping people to develop the tools they need to be, do and feel at their best. She draws on various systems of holistic health, spiritual and meditative practices blending them into a unique model of empowerment toward each individual’s full potential.

Hilary Reed, co-founder of the Bay Area Sound Healing Alliance and owner of Resonant Remedies, a private practice dedicated to the use of sound and music as a path to whole body wellness. Hilary has received advanced accreditation through the California Institute of Integral Studies in Sound, Voice and Music Healing as well as certification in hands on healing through Remembering Union Energy Balancing. She is a teacher and continuing student of the Yoga of the Voice, an inspirational approach to vocal expression developed by her teacher and mentor, Silvia Nakkach, of the Vox Mundi School of Sound and the Voice.

Whether you are dealing with an infection, chronic illness, or simply want to feel more healthy, herbs help the body to heal and be whole.

Kara was certified in 2005 by the Ohlone Herbal Center in Berkeley, CA as a Clinical Western Herbalist. She has been seeing clients and teaching her love of plant medicine ever since. Kara is honored to have studied with such renowned teachers as Autumn Summers, Karen Aguiar, Terry Jensen, Kami McBride, Donna D’Terra, Pam Fischer, Sarah Bearden, David Hoffman, Lois Johnson, Sarah Holmes, Karen Sanders, and Deanna Batdorf, among others.

Kara currently sees clients out of her home office in the Mission district of San Francisco. She co-teaches the three year clinical herbal program at the Ohlone Herbal Center, as well as leading herb walks, wildcrafting trips, and other short-term classes. Kara makes all of her own medicine for clients in her Apothecary.

Christopher Tellez

Christopher offers a 30- minute introduction Reiki session.  Reiki is an ancient Buddhist technique of channeling energy through the palms of the hands. Reiki activates the natural healing processes, detoxifying the body of both physical and emotional blockages while bringing about deep relaxation and calmness.

Christopher Tellez is a second degree Reiki practitioner. He studied under Elaine J. Abrams and Brian Brunius of New York City and follows the traditional Usui Reiki teachings. He also holds a MSW from Columbia School of Social Work and has worked in the social work profession for over a decade. He launched SF Reiki Center in 2011.

His clients range from those experiencing loss and trauma, those going through surgery, those working on changing thought and belief patterns, those working on improving their physical health, people struggling with addiction, people with mental health concerns, and people who have high stress in their lives.

Taylor Watson, Aspiring Health Coach

Taylor is BAHC intern extraordinaire

Taylor Watson is a creative educator based in San Francisco.  Her passion lies in teaching the value of whole, nutritious foods to children, teens, and families in the Bay Area.  She has worked in a variety of educational positions in San Francisco, bringing her love and knowledge cooking, nutrition, and horticulture to every one of them.  She is currently enrolled in the Health Coach Training Program with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.  She is excited to work directly with individuals to bring a holistic approach of health and wellness to their lives.

Fresh!  offers a 30- Minute life coaching sample session. In his experience offering sessions at the Craigslist Foundation Boot Camp, Fresh! has been able to help clients with accountability, brainstorming and perspective work (creating more perspectives from which one makes a choice).

Fresh! White is a Certified Professional Co-Active Life Coach, Writer, Speaker and Facilitator. As Principal of Affirmative Acts Coaching, Fresh! enjoys and has experience working with people from all walks of life including artists, students, nonprofit professionals, activists and other Life Coaches. Fresh! works with clients to create fuller and richer life experiences by helping them to reach their goals, develop new skills or habits, create new work, or simply living their days in larger ways.
